Job Description

The primary purpose of this position is to implement the preventative maintenance program of all mechanical equipment and to complete necessary and scheduled work order repairs. This position is part-time, every other weekend, first shift.

Perform in-house renovations; building construction and repair; HVAC, bldg. automations, plumbing and electrical troubleshooting and repairs, with some responsibility for landscaping and snow removal for this 90+ acre, 450,000 square foot campus.  Some weekend work required.


Job Requirements

The successful candidate will have a technical background and mechanical aptitude.  Pool maintenance experience a plus, CPO preferred.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills as demonstrated by prior experience working within a similar environment with the desire and ability to deliver exceptional customer service to our residents.  Proven ability in meeting the fluctuating needs of the department while completing assignments within requested timeframes.  Basic MS Office computer knowledge.

Strong Electrical, HVAC, BAS, PBX and Pool Operation Certification preferred.  Knowledge of Connecticut Health Code, OSHA, Life/Safety and Building Codes helpful.
